About you:

• Law degree, with 2+ years of legal experience, with an Indian corporate law

• Deep understanding of Indian corporate law, especially around company incorporation and foreign investment structures.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with Indian partners and international team members.

• Experience in fast-scaling legal environments or startups entering new markets.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Help with business expansion in India, supporting leadership on contracts, partnerships, and other legal matters.

• Oversee the company formation process in India, ensuring it’s compliant, scalable, and efficient.

• Work closely with Indian law firms, registrars, and other local partners (occasional travel to India may be needed).

• Keep records and track obligations for all Indian legal entities.

• Stay on top of Indian legal and regulatory changes and advise leadership on risks and compliance.

• Build internal legal processes and documentation standards to support collaboration across teams.
