About you:
Law degree, with 2+ years of legal experience, with an Indian corporate law
Deep understanding of Indian corporate law, especially around company incorporation and foreign investment structures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with Indian partners and international team members.
Experience in fast-scaling legal environments or startups entering new markets.
Your daily tasks will include:
Help with business expansion in India, supporting leadership on contracts, partnerships, and other legal matters.
Oversee the company formation process in India, ensuring it’s compliant, scalable, and efficient.
Work closely with Indian law firms, registrars, and other local partners (occasional travel to India may be needed).
Keep records and track obligations for all Indian legal entities.
Stay on top of Indian legal and regulatory changes and advise leadership on risks and compliance.
Build internal legal processes and documentation standards to support collaboration across teams.
